Freelance Product Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Product Designer with a strong background in visual design for tech SaaS companies. The ideal candidate will excel in transforming defined project briefs into visually stunning and user-friendly designs. This role emphasises visual design over discovery or user research, focusing on bringing our product vision to life through compelling visual aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
Visual Design: Create high-quality visual designs from low fidelity to high fidelity, ensuring a cohesive and attractive user interface.
Rapid Prototyping: Quickly develop low fidelity wireframes and prototypes, iterate based on feedback, and refine them into high fidelity designs.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other designers, to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
Innovation: Bring fresh, creative ideas to the table, pushing the boundaries of conventional design to create visually striking and effective user interfaces.
Consistency: Maintain and uphold design consistency across all products and platforms, adhering to brand guidelines and best practices.
Feedback Integration: Actively seek and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven 6-8 years experience as a Product Designer, specifically within B2B tech SaaS companies.
Skills: Exceptional visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Tools: Proficiency in Figma
Creativity: Strong innovative and creative abilities, capable of taking a brief and transforming it into compelling visual designs.
Agility: Ability to quickly produce low fidelity designs, solicit feedback, and turn them into high fidelity designs efficiently.
Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your visual design expertise and experience with tech SaaS products. (Please share your Figma portfolio)
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
Experience with AI Products: Experience designing for AI or machine learning products is a plus.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlines.
