Join Red Sky, where we partner with a globally recognised leader in audio visual integration, specialising in IPTV and UC services for prestigious clients in the Finance, Banking, and Technology sectors. We are currently seeking a seasoned freelance technician to complement their dynamic team on an ad-hoc Monday to Friday engagement.



This role offers the advantage of� payments out of scope of IR35 DOE, providing you with flexibility while joining their onsite team to deliver exceptional technical support In Swindon. You'll immerse yourself in a diverse range of cutting-edge technologies within the Audio Visual and Video Conferencing domains.



This isn't an entry-level position; while they provide comprehensive onboarding, they require applicants with a solid background in corporate and conference services, including experience with system setups as well as a proficiency in video conferencing and streaming services. This requires Applicants specifically from Auditorium and conference room support only, candidates with a background specialised in broadcasting, film, music or theater unfortunately will not be considered.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Set up and operate integrated event spaces, including high-profile auditorium-based presentations.

  • Handle video and audio conference setup and support.

  • Prepare equipment for upcoming events and meetings.

  • Offer day-to-day support for AV and VC facilities, covering sound reinforcement, projection, lighting, and web streaming.

  • Take ownership of meeting rooms, AV equipment, and offer support in other areas when needed.

  • Provide AV support to various business units as required.

  • Interface with senior executives to address issues professionally, both face-to-face and remotely.

  • Collaborate with the help desk and operations team to arrange backup support when necessary.

  • Perform administrative tasks utilising Microsoft Office applications, ticketing systems, and room booking software.



To Apply:




  • Minimum experience of 2 years as an audio visual technician in conference and corporate settings

  • A UK based applicant with unrestricted right to work in Europe.
