Fractional Finance Director

The Finance Director will be pivotal in steering the business through a strategic growth period, so proven experience in this area is key. As well as providing strategic financial guidance to the board through hands on financial analysis, the FD will also oversee and support a small finance team which is led by an experienced Financial Controller. Collaborate with the board to develop long-term financial strategies and business plans that drive growth, profitability, and align to the companies’ goals and objectives. Support decision making at board level through insights and recommendations based on financial analysis. Provide guidance on capital allocation. Evaluate potential investment opportunities and assess their financial viability and impact on the company's overall objectives. Provide guidance and support to finance staff on complex financial matters and professional development opportunities. Ownership of all financial related risks, working with the FC to implement effective mitigations. Review and advise on appropriate dividends. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Founders, Senior management, Banking partners, Auditors, and External Accountants. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Accountant with significant PQE. Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, within IT consultancy, Professional Services or the Technology sector. Proven experience of guiding a company through a significant growth period. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, financial storytelling, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at Board level.
