FPGA Firmware Engineer

FPGA Engineer - Outside IR35 - £50-£55p/h - SC Cleared - 12 months - Choice of Location 

Main Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Working closely with adjacent hardware/software teams for firmware integration

  
  


• 
  

  Full FPGA development including VHDL design, verification and integration

  
  

Requirements: 

• 
  

  5+ years experience with VHDL or SystemVerilog 

  
  


• 
  

  Expertise in FPGA development with HDL designer and other tools

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with ISE design and tools (Xilinx, Altera, Actel)

  
  


• 
  

  Firmware debugging experience

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of developing for real-time, safety-critical environments and embedded processors

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in Aerospace/Defence advantageous
