FP&A Project Lead

Your new company A market leading retail group in Blackburn. Your new role A key FP&A systems project lead role, reporting to the Director of Commercial Finance. You will be responsible for leading the implementation of a new Planning Tool and its synergies with the wider data and analytics work streams, from an FP&A perspective. This will include: Taking the lead in delivery of the planning project, ensuring business engagement and technical alignment. Working closely with IT, Business Intelligence and project management teams. Developing business planning and reporting processes with the wider commercial finance team members focussing on key drivers and macro assumptions. Ensuring reconciliation of data with core systems at a site and GL level. Ensuring all processes and decisions are documented sufficiently and have relevant approval. Continually reviewing FP&A best practice to support the evolution of FP&A and key decision support. What you'll need to succeed You will be a fully qualified with experience of implementing planning systems and tools. This will include an understanding of the technology and analytical data projects. The role is suited to an experienced finance professional that has experience developing planning and analytics tools and understands both financial performance/FP&A and OLAP, SQL or similar technologies. You will be available to start quickly and happy to commit to a 12 month FTC. What you'll get in return A varied and rewarding project for 12 months and a generous market salary.
