Collins Aerospace is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.This role will report to Senior Analyst for FP&A here in Wolverhampton. The FP&A team are responsible for the analysis and reporting of actual results, delivery of insight-driven forecasts and budgets, and strategic support and assessment for the strategic business plan. The FP&A Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the global sites and will be responsible for all consolidation within the central FP&A team.Key Responsibilities:Ownership of consolidation of sales, margin and capex data for all global sites for actuals, forecast and strategic financial plan.Ownership of all templates for data collection, ensuring all stakeholder's requirements are capturedMaintenance of the consolidated financial data, ensuring robust controls are in place to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the dataIdentifying data source failures, understanding root causes and working with stakeholders on actionsProactively analysing the financial data to support FP&A reportingAd hoc support to the team as and when required with FP&A tasksBuild and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to influence processSupporting the Finance Digital team with automation of the financial reporting processesProactively seek to identify opportunities for process improvements across financial data collection and consolidation, including critically reviewing and helping to deliver change in existing processes, models and deliverables.Ensure compliance with RTX accounting policies and procedures in line with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, international accounting standardsKey Skills:Ideally Part Qualified accountant, working towards a recognized accountancy qualification (ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA) however relevant experience & the ambition to be qualified would be acceptableStrong analytical skills with advanced Excel skills and experience of managing and interpreting large complex data sets are a mustFlexible team member with commitment to the success of the function and organisation.Proactive self-starter, questioning / inquisitive, not happy with status quo.Desirable : FP&A experience in a manufacturing & engineering business.Raytheon Technologies is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
