The Role As a Junior FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the financial operations of the company with responsibilities including: Financial Reporting: Conduct detailed and accurate monthly financial analyses, reviewing budget discrepancies and forecasting future financial trends. Financial Entries: Compute and log various financial entries, ensuring all transactions such as accruals, prepayments, and payroll are correctly recorded. Financial Forecasting: Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to guide the company’s financial planning efforts. Operational Efficiency: Participate in reviewing and refining current financial processes to enhance operational efficiency. Expenditure Monitoring: Foster a culture of cost efficiency and ensure all expenses are approved according to company protocols. Financial Projects: Take on special projects aimed at improving financial procedures and systems. Continuous Improvement: Show commitment to enhancing financial operations and identifying opportunities for process enhancements. About You You are an aspiring financial analyst with strong academic foundations in finance, demonstrated by good GCSEs, A-levels, or similar qualifications. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills which enable you to build solid relationships both internally and externally. Your ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail sets you apart. You are a proficient user of Microsoft Excel and familiar with other Microsoft Apps like Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and OneNote. Your excellent planning, organisational skills, and ability to work well in a team make you a perfect fit for this role.
