Our client is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst with minimum 3 years experience in a similar role. Based from offices in central London this role is NOT Hybrid.

Our client is within the Media sector (Print, Publishing, Online, TV) and would be particularly interested in applications with experience in these sectors, although practical hands on exposure at a senior level in any industry will be equally accepted. This client is looking for someone who can work at pace, the business model is channging and there is a heavy focus on financial reporting so the business would like someone who is used to reporting to senior board and external stakeholers.

This role reports directly to the Financial Director

This client will hold a 2 stage inevriew process, first will be TEAMS and 2nd/final on site with the SLT - this role is newly created and available immediately

Duties.

Design and enhance existing models to provide greater insight around the balance sheet, P&L and cashflow.

Develop improvements across a range of models / internal processes and regularly test / analyse the models efficiency output.
Enhance reporting processes with a 'future-focused' approach.
Support the integration of new acquisitions into financial models.
Analyse large volumes of data and deliver findings in a simplified format.
Business partner and deliver commercial insight of the successes / failures of the business plans / business outputs to the group.
Contribute to strategic projects, including acquisition planning and exploring alternatives to Excel-based modelling.
Other tasks as reasonably required, including ad-hoc analysis, project work and supporting the Management Accounts Team.
The successful candidate will be:-

Min 3 years’ experience in a similar role
A strong user of excel
Latter stages ACCA/CIMA or fully qualified
Ideally have some working knowledge of the Media sector (but not essential)
This is not a hybrid role, the role holder must be able to commute into central London on a daily basis
