ARE YOU A QUALITY ENGINEER FROM A FOUNDRY OR FERROUS METALLURGY BACKGROUND?



Quality Engineer required for a specialist manufacturer who are well established in their industry. They are renowned for producing high quality products for a wide range of sectors.



The role would suit Quality Engineers from a foundry or metallurgical background. Applicants will ideally have experience working in an environment with ductile iron. You must have proven experience maintaining and developing quality systems and making improvements to quality processes and ultimately produce quality.



Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be working across two manufacturing facilities. You will work to maintain, develop and optimise product quality. You will Monitor the performance of the quality system, producing data, and measuring quality operations against set standards, also maintaining calibration of the measuring equipment. A big part of the role, will be quality investigations and root cause analysis of non conformances. You will initiate and implement corrective measures. You will support the Quality Manager with compliance and certification processes.
