Role Overview:
As a Founder Associate (FA) at our company, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the founder/Chief Operating Officer (COO) across various critical tasks and projects. This role is akin to being a trusted advisor and right-hand person to our leadership team, assisting with high-priority initiatives, content creation, business operations, and film production management.
Responsibilities:
Project Management and Execution:
Manage high-priority projects and initiatives as directed by the founder /COO.
Oversee logistics and coordination for documentary shoots, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliverables.
Assist in organizing the founder's day-to-day schedule and keeping them on task.
Content Development and Podcast Hosting:
Assist in podcast hosting responsibilities, including guest research, question formulation, and episode planning.
Collaborate with production teams to develop engaging content ideas aligned with our mission.
Business Operations Support:
Aid the founder and COO in operating the business, including submitting information to accountants, managing brand partnerships, and organizing meetings with distribution partners.
Facilitate pre-production logistics, including location scouting, studio arrangements, and guest communications.
Coordinate equipment logistics and ensure smooth operations during shoots and recordings.
Film Production Management:
Support the management of our in-house film production company, including organizing meetings with distribution partners and overseeing all aspects of film production.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient planning and execution of film projects.
Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for film productions.
Founder Support:
Act as a liaison between the founder, COO, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on objectives.
Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and travel arrangements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Prior experience in a startup environment, content production, media industry, or film production preferred.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging different teams and departments.
Hands-on attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving and execution.
Passion for storytelling, content creation, and film production.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
