Fostering Social Worker - Referrals and Matching

�30 - �32 per hour

NonStop Care is looking for a locum Fostering Social Worker for a Family Placements team in the South West of England.

This is a contract role for a couple of months. The Social Worker will have a very good understanding of referrals and matching within a fostering service.

The role is fully home based, however the Fostering Social Worker will visit and support foster families across Bristol, Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, Wiltshire, Swindon and South Gloucestershire areas.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be joining a not for profit Independent Fostering Agency with an Outstanding Ofsted. They are therapeutic also.

You will be responsible for receiving referrals from Local Authorities via phone or email. You will also be responsible for the matching service offered to Local Authorities. You will also provide a duty service to Local Authority Social Workers.

This is a contract role for a couple of months however it can get extended or even become permanent.

As this is a locum role, they are looking to interview as soon as possible, via Teams.

Requirements:

Please apply if you are a Qualified Social Worker and if you have experience in working in fostering. You will have a good understanding of referrals and matching within a fostering service. You must have a Social Work Degree and a driving license also.
