Fostering and Adoption Team Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Fostering Team Manager in Southend.
This post will be based within the Marketing and Permanency Team.
As the new Team Manager, you will be taking the lead on recruiting and/or applications for prospective foster carers and managing the pipeline at stage 1 and 2.
Working with the communication team, you willensure the council provides a first class professional service by being responsible for the efficient and cost effective provision of needs-led services to children, young people and their families.
You will be running a team of 4, managing performance, providing formal professional supervision to staff and ensuring that appraisals are undertaken, identifying skills gaps or training needs are addressed.
This is a hybrid post, but you are required to be on sitea minimum of 3 days a week and must attend the monthly on sitemeetings.
Requirements
:
Social Work England registration
3-year-post qualified recognised Social Work qualification Diploma/Degree
A full UK driving licence
DBS clearance
Authority to work in the UK
