Forklift Driver

Gi Group are recruiting for a Forklift Driver to work in Southam, CV47 area of Warwickshire!

IMMEDIATE START

Shift available:
Mon – Thurs: 07:30 – 17:00
Fri: 07:30 – 12:00

Pay Rate:
£11.50 per hour

Bonus:
Additional 3h pay each week, if completed full week with no absence/lateness (makes pay £12.35 per hour)

The Role

- Checking all delivered goods and signing for deliveries when required.
- Ensuring all items are correctly picked, packed and loaded on the correct lorry for delivery to site.
- Report any issues that prevent planned items from being despatched.
- Locate incoming goods in correct area and advising Line Management
- Picking of materials for the factory if required.
- Maintaining areas of work in a clean and tidy state.
- Assisting the Logistics team in other areas when required.
- Helping to organise materials for the shop floor
- Ensuring all paperwork is maintained in the correct manner.
- Comply with any objectives/targets/KPIs given.
- Any other duties relevant to the role or as determined by the Manager

The Person

- Will live or have their own transport to Southam (CV47)
- Will have experience operarting Counterbalance Truck
- Will have minimum 6 months experience operating a Counterbalance truck
- Will have previous experience using Excel and warehousing systems
- Must be able to understand and carry out instructions
- Will be self-motivated and a quick learner
- Good Attitude
