Fork Lift Truck Driver

Forklift Truck Driver URGENTLY required to start Monday 15th April

Location: Driffield

Hours: 45 hours per week

Rate: £13 per hour plus overtime available

We URGENTLY require an experienced Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck Driver for our Offsite and Modular Construction client based in the Driffield area.

About the role

You will be assisting all Modular trades with various duties within a Modular production area

The Main Duties Will Be:

• Picking, loading, and unloading construction materials in the production area
• General labouring duties if not busy on FLT truck
• Other general production area duties also required to meet the business needs
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Follow all Health and Safety procedures on site
• Perform routine maintenance on FLT truck
• Placing all deliveries of construction materials/stock on racks within the production/warehouse area

Skills/ Qualifications Required

• Valid Counter Balance licence 5 ton minimum B1 (No in house license's)
• Minimum 1 year’s experience ideally (but not essential) in a Modular/ Offsite environment
• Good level of English and Maths for inventory management
• Can work in a fast-paced environment and at times work under pressure
• Can complete basic paperwork for deliveries of module buildings
• Can operate a counterbalance forklift truck efficiently and safely in a busy production facility environment
• Able to lift heavy objects and place in designated areas
• Have the ability to follow simple instructions from Supervisor and and Managers of the production area

Although this position is temporary for the right candidate it could lead to a permanent position.
