Forensic Consultant

We have an excellent permanent job opportunity for a Forensic Consultant to work for a private inpatient service based in South Wales. This is a full-time role in which the postholder will be responsible for providing medical and leadership for a 20-bed low secure male ward.

The hospital has a well-established system of clinical governance and a quality improvement programme. The successful candidate will be expected to lead the clinical governance programme on their ward and to participate in clinical governance at a hospital level.

Salary: £150,000 per annum + on call enhancements

Position: Forensic Consultant

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week

Setting: Low secure male ward

Location: South Wales

For this role, we're looking for someone who is:

• Fully registered and licensed medical practitioner
• Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists
• On Specialist Register
• Approved Clinician in Wales
• Experience in forensic psychiatry
