£24,301.20 per annum

20 days plus bank holidays and 5 office closure days (3 at Christmas and 2 in Summer)
Job Overview
You will collaborate with the Norwich Foodbanks and other teams to tackle underlying causes of poverty and hardships by providing accredited advice based on the individual client’s needs. This may also include some limited casework. The Food Bank Advisor will also train and support volunteers.
We aim to reduce their need for foodbank support in the future and enable them to develop resilience and self-confidence.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure all advice complies with the organisation’s Quality Standards, policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and GDPR
Maintain records on Casebook (our case recording and customer relationship management system) to ensure consistency, continuity and statistical monitoring.
Ensure feedback is obtained from users of the service
Produce reports, case studies and feedback for key stakeholders including funders and partner agencies
Collaborate with colleagues in NCA, Trussell Trust, and partner agencies to ensure the service availability
What we’re looking for:
Excellent IT and telephone skills
Ability to work independently as part of a team
Ability to prioritise own work and meet deadlines
Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of people using the service
Effective communication skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues
Drivers Licence and car is essential
