Food Technology Teacher

Location: Gateshead
Salary: £150 - £200 per day

Contract: Full Time

GSL Education are seeking an outstanding Food Technology Teacher to join a dynamic school community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to fostering a supportive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Support students in developing practical cooking skills and theoretical knowledge.
• Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for national examinations.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote a cohesive learning environment.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.

Requirements:

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
