We're looking for the right candidate to start in Summer 2024!
PositionYou will support the provision of safe, honestly-marketedfood is a legal, commercial and moral imperative.You will learn food legislation for the UK and global markets, labbelling requirements and much more!Develop, maintain and extend a high level of awareness ofcurrent food legislation, related issues and likely developments.Answer questions from members, other clients and colleagues.Contribute to Campden BRI scheduled legislation courses, RApublications and events.Contribute to the development and delivery of researchprojects.Recommend and implement change in services, products andsystems.Develop self to enhance performance and professionalism.RequirementsFood Science graduate (or related subject) predicted classification 2:1 (or equivalent).Understanding / knowledge of food law in relation to commercial,enforcement or policy setting would be an advantage. Ideally you’ll have had some previous experiencewithin food regulatory affairs. Good verbal and written communication skills.Demonstratable skills in report writing and data analysis.Effective time management skills relating to effective delivery and business practices.Akeen interest and passion in the food industry.Self-driven and motivated.Naturally inquisitive and passionate about technical excellence.Can work with a level of autonomy, as well as within a team.Good working knowledge of MS Office.Be able to attend monthly meetings at Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.This role is remote based, with travel required once permonth to our site at Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.Working hours- Monday-Friday 8.45am-5.15pm (4.30pm finish on Fridays).Please note we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.Reward platform with employee discounts and rewards25 days holiday + 8 bank holidaysBuy and sell holiday schemeA generous work save pension scheme, with employee contributions matched by the company up to 10%Culture focus around work/life balance (early finish Fridays)Subsidised onsite restaurantApply for this role* Required fields
