A day in the life of…
AsFood and Beverage Supervisor, you will assist the Food & Beverage Outlet Manager by supervising all aspects of your Restaurant team, as well as assist overseeing any events within the hotel. You will maintain consistent standards of service, ensuring guest satisfaction whilst creating a working environment that supports our values.
Based in The View Hotel, Eastbourne you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.
Responsibilities include:
Service Oversight: Supervising meal service to ensure smooth operations.
Staff Training and Leadership: Training and leading staff in service standards and procedures.
Quality Control: Monitoring food and beverage quality and addressing issues promptly.
Inventory and Cost Management: Managing inventory levels and controlling costs effectively.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring excellent customer service and addressing guest needs.

What do we need from you?
To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards.
Hospitality Experience: Previous experience in a food and beverage role, preferably in a supervisory or leadership position.
Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
Leadership Abilities: Ability to lead and motivate a team, provide direction, and delegate tasks effectively.
Organisational Skills: Strong organisational abilities to manage staff, inventory, and operations efficiently.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think quickly on your feet, address issues as they arise, and make decisions to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
