Our client, based in Croydon, are a leading food packaging company that are pioneers in manufacturing sustainable and biodegradable packaging, putting emphasis on their green values. They are currently seeking an experienced Folder Gluer Operator to join their growing team.

The Role:

• Make ready carton board packaging


• Run folder gluing machine inc. Signature / Brausse folder gluers


• Ability to problem solve and monitor own quality control measures


• Ensure smooth day-to-day running of machinery and products


• Excellent team working and communication skills


• Participate in continuous development and training


• Excellent housekeeping and operator maintenance practices.

The Candidate:

• Experience of running a folder gluing machine (essential)


• Experience operating Signature / Brausse folder gluers or other folder gluers


• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines whilst remain calm


• Able to prioritise multiple tasks and work under strict timescales


• Confident and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop


• Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills


• Organised, methodical and logical approach to work


• Able and willing to do overtime during busy periods.

Salary & Benefits

This a full time permanent job role with the salary depending on experience. It is an afternoon / evening position with the shift patterns as follows: 3:30pm-12:30am (Monday-Thursday) and 3:30pm-11:40pm (Friday).

Please note that if you aren’t available for these shifts but think you would be right for the role please do still apply as other shifts may be available.

Overtime is available during the week and weekends paid at time and a half.
