Job Title: FM Electrical Supervisor
Location: Birmingham (Static Role)
Are you an experienced electrician with leadership skills, looking for a stable and rewarding role in Birmingham? CBW are recruiting a dedicated Electrically biased Supervisor to oversee a team of engineers in a commercial property. This is a static role with no on-call rota, offering an excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to make a significant impact in a key position.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of 3 engineers, ensuring efficient and effective maintenance and repair of electrical systems within the commercial property.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily work schedules and tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team, troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with property management and other stakeholders to address and prioritise maintenance needs.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety policies, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an electrician, with a strong background in commercial property maintenance.
  • Previous supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
