Flux Core Welder

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Flux Core Welder Coded 3G to join our Fabrication Shop in Dyce Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating various components in accordance with engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Responsibilities: Flux Core Welder

• Weld and fabricate various components in accordance with engineering drawings and customer specifications.


• Inspect welds for accuracy, quality and conformance with specifications.


• Use welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.


• Work with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standard.


• Keep the work area clean and tidy.

Requirements: Flux Core Welder

• Previous experience as a Flux Core Welder Coded 3G


• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.


• Must be able to work to tight tolerances.


• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.


• Must have a good understanding of health and safety procedures.

Salary: Flux Core Welder

• PAYE: Standard Day Pay Rate: �17.50ph, Overtime Day Rate: �23.50ph, Standard Night Pay Rate: �19.50ph, Overtime Night Rate: �25.50ph


• LTD: Standard Day Pay Rate: �22.00ph, Overtime Day Rate: �27.00ph, Standard Night Pay Rate: �25.00ph, Overtime Night Rate: �30.00ph

Shifts: Flux Core Welder

• Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 07:00-17:30


• Night Shift: Monday to Thursday 17:30-04:00
