Fluent Mandarin FX Dealer

Our client, a financial institution based in London is recruiting a Fluent Mandarin FX Dealer to join their front office team.

As an FX Dealer, you are expected to be a highly driven, career-minded individual who has excellent knowledge of trading and investment. This position provides an exciting opportunity for working within a small team and quickly adapting to cover a broad area of duties.

The responsibilities in the role will include the following:

• Manage cash flow and money market transactions, including regular liquidity scenario analysis, monitoring liquid asset buffers, analysis and oversight to liquidity usage, seeking cost saving opportunities.


• Manage securities, FX and/or derivatives positions for client driven transactions or for internal asset liability management purposes.


• Perform market analysis and research, provide internal training if required.


• Assist to implement relevant compliance and risk management work, including but not limited to compliance requirements, risk control, counterparty identification and onboarding, etc;


• Assist with all activities assigned by the department head.


• Communicate and work with other departments to promote products or solutions, system enhancements, etc.

Skills/Experience:

• At least 5 years banking treasury experience;


• Hands-on using analytical tools and professional trading applications;


• Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Finance, Economics, or Engineering/Maths, strong mathematics / quantitative concentration;


• Fluent Mandarin


• Goal-oriented and flexible when job function rotation is required;


• Familiar with formal business writing.

This will be a full-time position with at least 4 days in the office.
