FLT Driver

Proactive Personnel are recruiting for Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver to join their client, a well-established manufacturing company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring machinery is sufficiently supplied with materials, checking deliveries are unloaded safely and stored correctly in the warehouse, whilst ensuring customer delivery times are met.

Specific roles are provided to each individual based on skills.

Training will be given where required.

Hours and Pay:

• 24/7 shift rota, days and nights, rotating fortnightly


• Salary of �27,800


• 12 hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Use of FLT to load/unload, and manoeuvre materials


• Supply material to all coating and printing machinery.


• Order picking


• Use of in-house computer systems (training will be given).


• Maintaining Health & Safety within the department.


• Warehouse administration and despatch


• Stock management and control


• Working with internal and external customers and suppliers and hitting deadlines regularly

The successful candidate will:

• Have a valid FLT counterbalance license


• Hold an FLT Flexi / Bendi Licence (not essential)


• Have experience working in a similar environment


• Able to work 24/7 shift pattern, example of shift pattern supplied


• Good communication skills


• Able to work under own initiative


• Experience of quality, health, safety and environmental standards and practices within a warehouse environment
