FLT Counterbalance Driver

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment have partnered with a company in Chesterfield who have a state-of-the-art fulfilment centre and are looking for Counterbalance FLT Drivers.

This is a temporary to permanent position with progression opportunities!

**Please note, you MUST hold a DBS CHECK to apply for this position**

The Job:

• Counterbalance FLT driver (need proof of a valid licence)
• Indoor and outdoor position (counterbalance has covers for poor weather)
• Moving empty pallets from the warehouse out into the yard
• Stacking empty pallets in the yard up to 20 high
• Stacking curtain side trailers with empty pallets up to 10 high
• All the above in reverse (removing pallets from trailer etc)
• Moving bails of cardboard from the warehouse and into recycling area in the yard

Important Information:

• You will need to complete four hours of training, which will form part of your first shift
• Must have a solid ability to read and write

The Hours:

Days – 7:30am – 7:30pm (4 on 4 off to include weekends)

Nights – 7:30pm – 7:30am (4 on 4 off to include weekends)

The Pay:

Day rate - £12.07

Night rate - £13.07
