ReferenceCG228SectorCivil & Structural Engineering, Ecology and Environmental ((BST: 8:00 - 18:00 (Mon/Thurs) 8:00 - 16:00 (Fri))) We are currently recruiting for a small multidisciplinary consultancy seeking a Flood risk engineer / consultant or Senior team in Yorkshire.This consultancy is looking for an Flood consultant, (2 years+) Senior consultant (5 years +) to be working in their Hydrology / Flood risk team. They are currently working on a spectrum of pre planning projects within the Infrastructure, Transport, Residential, Commercial and industrial sector. This company has a fantastic open and collaborative culture to see engineers of all levels progress their careers and become versatile engineers and consultants. You will start to develop skills in project management and client liaison to then lead projects. The have Chartered Engineers / Hydrologist within the business that can mentor you to gain your professional accreditation. If you have a background in Development Infrastructure, Flood risk modelling or Flood Risk and are looking for a company that you will be involved with all stages of a project this is the company for you.Experience- Have a degree within Geography, Earth and environmental sciences, engineering on relevant qualification- Have ambition to complete or already on route to becoming chartered- Prepare flood risk assessment, ES Chapters and Drainage strategies- Have experience with Microdrainage, PDS, GIS, Auto CAD but not essential- Beneficial to have Hydraulic modelling background – TUFLOW- Have proven UK experience within the Drainage sector- Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams- Manage budgets and time of a project with guidance- Have UK right to work status- Have experience with Surface water and foul drainage strategiesBenefits packages- 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays.- Annual leave increases by one day for every three years of service.- Life Insurance (three times annual salary).- Paid professional subscriptions.This is a fantastic role for a passionate, ambitious Flood consultant or senior to work for a company that will develop your skills and ensure you become a well-rounded versatile Hydrologist / Flood risk engineer.
