Job Title: Flood Modeller
Location: Lamington Spa, UK (Can consider Sheffield or Bath for the right candidate)
Experience: 2y+ UK sector experience
Type: Perm / Full time
Our client is very keen to hire a flood modeller due to an increase in workload. They require someone with a minimum 2-year UK sector experience - Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK long term without sponsorship.
Must have technical skills:
Working experience of Flow/Micro Drainage, Flood Modeller Pro, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS or similar 1D-2D hydraulic modelling software.
Working experience of hydrological software (primarily WINFAP4, and ReFH2).
Working experience of GIS software (QGIS).
Use of AutoCAD/Autodesk Civil 3D preferred but not essential.
Working experience of FRAs, SUDS and Pre-Planning civils.
Working experience of detailed drainage design, and S104 agreements preferred but not essential.
Use of Microsoft Office software packages i.e. Excel, Word, etc.
Competencies:
An awareness of commercial frameworks and ability to contribute to fee proposals.
Ability to manage own projects and teams within agreed time scales.
Excellent written and verbal communication and management skills.
