Fleet Service Manager

The main duty of this role is to ensure equipment in our depot has up to date real time availability and is maintained to a high standard and ready for hire.What will you be doing?Overseeing Fleet Availability – supporting & working hand in hand with depot supervisors to drive system real-time availability across our depot networkEstablishing online availability systems to monitor equipment hire readinessImplementing fleet availability dashboards across depot network / local dashboards to assist local teamsSystem/dashboard training - supporting local teams with dashboard training to drive better fleet visibility / real-time detail/service recordsGenerating weekly fleet availability reportsRegular interaction with depot/workshop supervisors to support local teamsWorking with depot supervisors to track turnbacks, quality/service improvements to improve customer experienceSupporting managers/supervisors with pro-active sourcing of equipmentWhat we’re looking for:Experience within a similar roleExceptional organisation skillsSomeone who adjusts to pressure and changing business conditionsConfident and articulateIdeally with a hire/rental understanding and or a service industry backgroundUK Driving LicenceWhat do we offer?Very competitive salaryCar (including electric) or cash allowanceCompany pension (with salary sacrifice option)Benefits Central Platform hosting employee rewards and recognition initiatives and health and wellbeing resources.About usCarrier Rental Systems (part of the global Carrier Corporation) operates throughout the UK and across the rest of the world, providing a range of market-leading, specialist temperature control rental products to a variety of clients and industries.Carrier Corporation is the world’s leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration solutions.
