ABL 1 Touch prides itself not only in the quality of its work but in providing excellent customer service.As we continue to grow, ABL 1 Touch are looking to recruit a Fleet OperationsManager to join our team.Reporting into the Operations Director, the Fleet OperationsManager will be responsible for leading the company transport function, owning the compliance and efficient management of the department with full P&L responsibility.To be successful in this role you will evidence substantial experience in managing a diverse fleet consisting of Passenger, Light Commercial & Heavy Commercial vehicles combined – currently circa 500 units.Be able to audit to high level of consistency, support the operation and management team to ensure full compliance and vehicle optimisation. The candidate must hold a CPC, have knowledge of Operator’s Licence requirements and prior experience of overseeing an outsourced fleet service provider in their entirety including negotiations, reviews and managing service levels. It is expected that you will have strong knowledge of all relevant transport legislationResponsibilities of a Fleet OperationsManager will include:Create and maintain a safe & compliant working environment for all employees within the business.Maximise vehicle “Up Time” & “Availability” whilst maintaining and controlling all associated costs, ensuring the day to day transport operation for both the internal and outsourced fleet operates in-line with the service level agreements.Own the Outsource Managed Fleet provider of circa 450 Courtesy cars and ensure all reporting and operational performance of the fleet via the P&L are achieved.Experienced in vehicle uptime and utilisation management to maximise productivity on all vehicle types.Monitor all levels of Fleet & Transport compliance to the expected criteria in line with current legislation and hold accurate records of all checks, rectifications and issues found.Monthly, quarterly, bi annual and annual Fleet Compliance Rating submissions fully completed and within timescalesTo ensure all scheduled and reactive maintenance is completed within legal timescales.To create and produce an internal Fleet Compliance Rating scorecard to measure compliance and cooperate responsibility.Oversea the required Transport checks and ensure compliance and safety of all vehicle movements.Own the Induction of all drivers (employed & agency) and ensure all drivers are legal and safe to join the transport team.Skills and experience required as a Fleet OperationsManager:Previous experience as a Fleet Operations Manager in the automotive industryExtensive expreience within a senior fleet management capacity with knoiwledge of fleet management sofrware and telematics systems.Demonstrate ability to adjust to market trends,technologies and regulatory requirements.Evidence commerical acumen and P&L improvements around the full lifecycle of the fltte managementStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWell organised with an ability to multi-task and manage a varied workloadGood attention to detail and comfortable using MS officeStrong planning and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlinesUpbeat and friendly personalityTechnical skills, knowledge and experience of body and paint repair in the retail motor industryJoining our team at ABL1 Touch means becoming part of a dynamic organisation that values its employees and provides opportunities for professional growth.
