35 hours per week, working on a Monday to Friday basis.

We are now recruiting for aFleet Compliance Manager to join us. Reporting to the National Fleet Manager, this role will be responsible for:
Key Accountabilities:
Work with depot teams to ensure Operator Licence compliance across all logistics functions.
Provide direction at individual and collective level on Operator Licence legislation as the subject matter expert.
Ensure a standardised approach to legally required tasks and processes concerning vehicles and drivers across the network.
Maintain an audit framework to ensure O Licence compliance
Collaboration with H&S team and trainers to ensure working practices implemented are safe and legal, leading by example
Be accountable for external providers of relevant systems and services implemented across the distribution network, implementing sound SLAs. (e.g. Telematics, tachograph analysis, motor incident notification.)
Take decisive action where legal compliance is compromised and take the lead to ensure timely communication and incident resolution.
Ensure alignment between systems and data and adherence to process in relation to vehicle incident management and driver monitoring systems
Support the building of vehicle and driver KPIs and metrics (A to G Rating, Driver Risk Profiling.)
Develop strong working relationships with the senior team to ensure alignment on processes and procedures and clear understanding of any areas of O Licence compliance risk.
Lead O Licence Compliance meetings for Transport Managers to ensure best practice is shared and knowledge is current across all locations
Experience and Key Attributes:
Track record of excellent logistics compliance in an FMCG manufacturer and/or retail logistics business at a mid to senior level.
Sound understanding of total supply chain: logistics, fleet and warehousing.
A strong and clear understanding of Operator Licence and drivers hours legislation. CPC holder. Objectivity and confidence to challenge where compliance is lacking.
Able to build a strong performance culture with high levels of personal accountability. Skilled at collaborating with and coaching people throughout the organisation.
Experience in identifying best practice and engaging internal and external cross functional relationships to deliver successful plans and achieve excellence
Ability to make sound and timely judgements in an ambiguous environment
Track record of improving quality, delivery and cost performance
Track record of leading initiatives and projects that improve fleet performance in particular in relation to Operator Licence compliance.
Sound knowledge of Health and Safety rules and good practice, particularly in relation to fleet operations
Excellent collaborative skills with the ability to influence and instruct.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Results oriented with a passion for driving initiatives to completion and delivering on all commitments.
Ability to work cross functionally and lead/contribute across the SC leadership team
Self-starter organizational and entrepreneurial skills. Good business acumen cost focused to impact spend at depot level.
Ability to delegate responsibility and inspire accountability to enable teams to drive their part of the business without unnecessary interference
