We are currently recruiting for a Transport Compliance Manager to join our Fleet team to support the associated Contract Management Team and onsite CPC holder, via the Fleet Capability and Strategy Manager, to deliver a compliant fleet service ensuring the contracts legislative obligations of the Operators licences.We are looking for an experienced Fleet Administrator to join our tight knit team in Lambeth.The key purpose of this role is to support the in the Contract Management Team in the day to day running of the Lambeth contracts, ensuring the contracts legislative obligations of the Operators licences are fully complied with. Whilst maintaining the daily vehicle requirements for the Refuse, Trade, HRC, and Street cleansing departments. The post holder must follow the vehicle maintenance requirements ensuring all vehicles and plant are serviced and maintained to the specification outlined under the manufacturer's guidelines and the Operator licence profile. They will liaise with the internal workshop staffs and all third-party service providers to ensure all daily defects, breakdowns and punctures on our vehicles and plant are registered and dealt with within the relevant timeframe. To record specific data to ensure all contract obligations and requirements can be monitored and displayed to all relevant stakeholders when required.The Fleet Administrator will sustain and maintain all contract obligations and service level agreements for internal and external stakeholders within the Lambeth contract. To Keep the Lambeth contract legal and compliant and within the legislative requirements of the Operators licence.What you need to do the job:First and foremost, we are looking for an individual who currently holds the National Certificate of Professional Competence in Heavy Goods Vehicles or be willing to work towards obtaining this qualification within the first 6 months if successful in this role. The ideal candidate will come from a background and knowledge of Fleet Management. They must have a thorough understanding of UK and EU road transport legislation, including Goods MOT requirements and Construction and Use regulations.Ideally, they must have experience within the Waste and Recycling Industry,What we offer: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
