Job DescriptionFirm Overview:CIFC Asset Management LLC (together with its affiliates, “CIFC”) is a corporate and structured credit investment firm serving institutional investors globally. The firm emphasizes fundamental credit analysis, whereby CIFC’s highly experienced investment research team applies industry expertise and knowledge of leveraged finance to assess risk.Position Summary: The Operations Associate will be based in London and report into the European COO and work extensively with the broader operations team in New York. The Associate will be part of the European team, with opportunities to work alongside the trading, research and sales teams.Responsibilities:Operations analyst of assigned CLO funds in Europe including: Daily review / analysis of CLO compliance metrics Working on monthly trustee report tie out package. Compiling quarterly waterfall payments and computing related equity distribution forecastsDaily cash reconciliation against trustee files CLO warehouse NAV / equity valuation analysis and assist in warehouse closing processes and effective date reporting. Tracking management fees and fund expensesMiscellaneous reporting / analysis as assignedProvide holiday coverage for some European funds during US HolidaysQualifications:3-5 years in a similar role at a buy-side firm, CLO trustee, accounting firm or service providerExcellent communications skillsStrong Excel and technology skillsKnowledge of bank loan operationsKnowledge of other fixed income asset classes preferred: bonds, structured credit, CDS/CDX, options, FX spot/forward trades. Knowledge of Wall Street Office administrator or other portfolio administration system modules is strongly preferred.Looking for a strong candidate that can grow with the role. Ability to work well within a small team in Europe but also a wider US operations team and manage workflows.
