Fitter / Assembler

Are you an experienced Assembler/Fitter? We are working with a reputable company based in Tipton who are expanding and seeking an experienced Assembler/Fitter. The pay rate for this will be £12.50 per hour. This role is based fully on-site. The working hours for this will be 7:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am-1:30pm on Friday. You must have your own tools for this position. This is a Temporary to Permanent position.

Main tasks and duties:

• Using power tools.
• Building forklifts - including parts for forklifts along with the whole trucks.
• Working in pairs - build time takes approximately 2 days on the product.
• Following the instructions and working to processes.
• Improving own skillset - salary increases with time served and competency levels met.
• Use of own tools - screwdrivers, drills, spinners, basic hand tools.

• Assembly experience (essential)
• Good level of English (essential)
• Ability to hit the production targets (essential)
• Exceptional attention to detail (essential)
• Ability to use power tools. (essential)
• Knowledge of pneumatics (beneficial)
• Electrical experience (beneficial)
