Caddy Group are looking to speak to�a skilled and experienced Site Managers with a strong carpentry background. This role is critical for their ongoing and upcoming projects focused on construction and fire door projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Lead a team of skilled carpenters and construction workers, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise the installation and maintenance of fire doors, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and building codes.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues promptly.
- Liaise with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed, conducting risk assessments and implementing preventive measures.
- Manage procurement of materials and resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely availability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a strong background in carpentry.
- Extensive experience with fire door installation and maintenance is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with various stakeholders.
