We are entering an exciting new phase of development and seek talented individuals to contribute to our continued growth.Location Advantage: Conveniently situated near Langley train station, offering an easy commute for train travellers.Responsibilities: As an Embedded Firmware Engineer focusing on Microcontroller Units (MCU), you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing embedded systems using various microcontroller platforms.Your responsibilities will include:
* System Design: Analysing project requirements and updating existing designing system architecture using suitable MCU platforms.
* Firmware Development: Writing efficient firmware code in C/C++ to control MCUs and interface with sensors and devices.
* Hardware Integration: Collaborating with hardware engineers for seamless system integration.
* Testing and Validation: Conducting thorough testing to ensure system functionality and reliability.
* Documentation: Creating technical documentation to aid team members and end-users.
* Collaboration and Support: Working closely with cross-functional teams for project success.
* Liasing with clients and providing training and support.Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
* Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
* Knowledge of USB stack is advantageous.
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Why the Role is Open: We are expanding and seeking a skilled embedded firmware engineer to join our team. * Ideally at least 2+ years of experience in embedded firmware although a very talented graduate could be considered.
* Electronics/electrical manufacturing industry experience would be huge plus, although backgrounds in all industries will be considered.
