Fire Stopper

Madisons are recruiting for Fire Stoppers / Fire Protection Operatives to work on a project in Manchester.

This is a 4 week contract with the option of future work.

Responsibilites:

• Apply fire stopping systems and solutions to a commercial project, including walls, floors, and ceilings.
• include installing passive fire protection products. 
• All aspects of fire stopping procedures and products, including, batt, mastic, fire seals & cavity barriers.
• Ability to read technical drawings and be a clear communicator to liaise with the site team and your supervisor.
• Ensure all work complies with current fire safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of health & safety
• Proven experience as a Fire Stopping Operative or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of fire stopping techniques, materials, and regulations.
• Relevant certifications in fire stopping (e.g., FIRAS, NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection).
• IPAF, PASMA (Desirable).
