Fire & Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:• Install, service, and maintain a wide range of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.• Conduct regular testing and inspection of systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards. • Diagnose and repair faults in fire and security systems.• Provide technical support and advice to clients.• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with industry regulations. • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.• Participate in an on-call Rota for emergency calloutsEssential Criteria:• Relevant technical qualifications in fire and security systems or electrical engineering.• Experience with a wide range of fire and security system brands and models.• Proven experience in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire and security systems.• Strong understanding of current industry standards and regulations. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Full driving license and willingness to travel to various client sites.• Good communication skills and professionalism in dealing with clients• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Flexibility to participate in out-of-hours emergency callouts.• Prior experience working on the front line directly with customers.Desirable Criteria:• Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., FIA, ECS).• Additional certifications or training in fire and security systems.• Familiarity with network systems and IP-based security solutions.• Role model for junior engineers and apprentices.• Project lead and mentoring experience.Benefits:• Competitive salary and benefits package.• Opportunities for professional development and career progression.• Supportive and collaborative work environment.• Access to the latest tools and technology
