Fire & Security Engineerup to £36K + PackageYorkshire & Midlands25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Paid Christmas ShutdownPaid Travel Time from home to siteHowells are working with an established Fire & Security contractor operating across Yorkshire and the North West, who are now planning to open an office in Sheffield to expand their operation. We are looking to speak to Fire and Security Engineers in the area. They specialise in in active fire and security solutions, offering an unparalleled level of knowledge & service in this sector built up over the last 40 years of trading.Your role will be to provide field support for reactive and maintenance works for the existing customer base. You will also be required to carry out small installations, commissioning, and the occasional site survey.Systems include fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers.Fire & Security Engineer Key Responsibilities:Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipmentCompleting preventative maintenance and field modificationsKeeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service log books and internal PDA reporting in a timely mannerMaintaining effective communications with customers and office to ensure resolution and proper follow-upMaintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibratedMeeting Health & Safety and all other applicable regulatory requirementsIdentifying and participating in sales opportunities such as new contracts, and system salesBe part of the emergency out of hours standby engineering team and go on the daily call out rotaFire & Security Engineer Salary & Benefits:Basic Salary £28K - £36K (Depending on Experience)You can earn up to £40K - £45K from overtime, call out and bonusTime and a half paid after 40 Hours - Plenty of overtime available if you want it!Working hours are Monday to Friday (40 hour week)Call out 1 in 10 days25 days holiday + 8 Bank HolidaysPaid Christmas shut down on top of your holiday allowancePaid travel time from home to first job and return to homeVehicle, fuel card & mobile telephone providedHealthcareLots of training and career progression opportunitiesThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and be at the forefront of building capability to meet the needs of clients and the business, now and in the future.
