Fire Safety Officer

Job Title: Band 6 Fire Safety Officer

Location: NHS Trust in Gloucestershire

Pay: �24 - �27 per hour (Umbrella)

Duties of the role:

• Provide specialist fire safety advice and design guidance for the NHS Trust


• Conduct Workplace Fire Risk Assessments for all owned /occupied premises in accordance with current legislation


• Provide Fire Safety Training for all employees on behalf of the NHS Trust


• Support the Trusts in Clinical Governance criteria targets regarding Fire Safety and Health & Safety issues


• Plan, design and develop training programmes


• Maintaining knowledge of contractors working on site as detailed in the Capital Programmes and take effective steps to ensure that their activities do not subvert Fire Precautions in existing premises

You will need:

• HNC or Diploma


• NEBOSH or IOSH


• Relevant fire safety experience
