Job Title: Interim Fire Risk AssessorLocation: Wiltshire, UKDuration: 3-months ongoingAs the Interim Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting Fire Risk Assessments for a diverse portfolio of properties owned by the Council. Your role will involve assessing approximately 10,500 tenanted homes, 240 corporate and commercial operational properties, including high-rise tower blocks, medium-rise blocks of flats, and low-rise blocks of flats. You will work collaboratively with other professionals, including the Asbestos Manager, Building Services Engineer, and Facilities Manager, to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain a safe environment for occupants.Key Responsibilities Conduct Fire Risk Assessments for tenanted homes, corporate, and commercial properties owned by the local authority.Assess high-rise tower blocks, medium-rise blocks of flats, and low-rise blocks of flats to identify fire risks and develop mitigation strategies.Provide expert advice and recommendations to address fire safety hazards and ensure the safety of occupants.Maintain accurate records of Fire Risk Assessments and ensure timely updates as required.Identify areas for improvement in fire safety measures and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.Conduct regular reviews and inspections to monitor compliance with fire safety regulations and standards.
