GMS are looking for a Security and Prevention Officer to work at a highly prestigious JLR site at Lyons Park , CV5 9DQ . You will be working 4 on / 4 off shift pattern with overtime available. As a Fire and Prevention Officer with GMS you will receive a pay rate of £14.04 per hour plus benefits including: (42 hours per week equates to £30K per annum)
You will be required to pass a fitness test to conduct this role.

We are looking for a Security and Prevention Officer who has the following skills and experiences:
Have excellent communication skills. Be computer literate. View punctuality as important. Have a professional demeanour with sound judgement. Have excellent customer service skills. Be capable of working on your own initiative. Be willing to work as part of a team.
As a Security and Prevention Officer your responsibilities will include:
Prevention Officer duties include, but are not limited to;
· Fire safety reviews conducted on a monthly basis for each area of the site
· Fire evacuation schedule conducted annually for each area of the site
· To administer hot work permits to mitigate the risk of fire
· Vulnerable area patrols
·Car park patrols and vehicle infringements
· Hydrant tests done on a quarterly basis
· Sprinkler system tests done on a weekly basis
· Fire alarm system tests done on a weekly basis
· Security intruder alarm tests done on a weekly basis
· Fire extinguisher maintenance and service
· Respond to and help control all emergency situations on site
· First Response, Emergency Care (FREC) medical response
· Respond to and control of any outbreaks of fire
· Assisting local authority emergency services
· Conducting vehicle and personnel searches
· Assisting in gate operations as and when required
· Assisting fire marshal training
· Maintenance checks on all equipment used in the role
· Any other reasonable requests made by JLR supervision / management
Mandatory Requirements:
· SIA License (Security or DS)
· UK Driving License
Preferred qualifications:
· In date FREC certificate (Intermediate) with AED & level two medical gases (minimum)
· In date BAFE Fire Extinguisher Technician certificate
