Fire Design Engineer

Fire Design Engineer - Remote WorkingOur client's Smart Infrastructure team is seeking a proficient Fire Design Engineer to join there dynamic team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in executing project-specific Fire Alarm designs, encompassing Fire Detection and Alarms, PA/VA systems, Gas Suppression, Aspirating systems, and Disable Refuge Systems.Responsibilities:
* Prepare comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOM) for pricing, programming, and design deliverables.
* Facilitate the approval process with relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment with scope documents and adherence to regulatory standards.
* Incorporate client procedure documents into all designs, maintaining compliance throughout the process.
* Manage contract administration procedures, overseeing Technical Queries (TQ) and Request for Information (RFI) processes effectively.Requirements:
* Background in the Fire and Security Industry with proficiency in Adobe Pro/Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, Navis Works - Revit.
* Demonstrated design experience and technical understanding of fire and security systems.
* Ability to articulate detailed fire and security system design specifications, in accordance with relevant standards such as BS5839, BS6266, BS7671, and BS7273.
* Completion of FIA Design Courses or equivalent.What We Offer:
