Fire and security service engineer

We are currently recruiting for a company based in Bognor Regis who are looking for a Fire and security service engineer to cover the South coast (Southampton to Brighton).

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Fire and Security Engineer, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, access control systems, CCTV systems, and other security solutions.
• Proficiency in system installation, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with industry codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.

This company offer some benefits which are different from a lot of other companies locally, they are stated below;

• 4 day week (Mon-Thurs) with a 1 in 8 ROTA to work on Friday's.
• Only time Friday's are worked are during school holidays, until 12pm. this is due to their client base being mostly schools etc.
• It is a 34 hour week, 7.30-16.30 Mon-Thurs.
• Anything over 34 hours is 1.5 rate. Door to door travel so the engineers see a minimum of 4 hours overtime every week.
• This is a servicing and small works role, no install.
• Hourly rate higher than usual to make up for the 4 day week.
• Salaries - �35,000 upwards, dependant on experience.
• Covering Brighton to Southampton (Occasionally as far as Bournemouth too, no London etc)
• Must take pride in giving customer a good experience while on-site.
