Job Description 



Installing and commissioning Fire & Security Solutions to commercial and residential properties across the UK.



Disciplines include Fire Alarm, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Gates.



Types of systems are Paxton, Gallagher, Came, Galaxy, Texecom, ATS, Scantronic, Visonic, Hikvision, IDIS, Axis and Wisenet.



Types of fire systems: Advanced, Kentec and Apollo.



My client sets high expectations of quality customer service and operate a yearly engineer training programme along with an in-house technical engineering support to develop excellent engineering skills to learn and develop knowledge within the industry.



Fire and Security Field Service Engineer

key role will be to carry out installation and commissioning work on a range of fire and security systems to the relevant industry standards and providing exceptional customer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a time served Installation & Commissioning technician or a Multi skilled engineer Ideally, but not essential, training will be given for Fire or Security as required.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Field Service Engineer




  • Installation of CCTV Systems, Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms and Access Control & Gates.

  • To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.

  • Take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management, as necessary.

  • Ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents and records are maintained accurately.

  • Compliance at all times with Company Policy & Health and Safety legislation.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:




  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Access control, CCTV, Intruder and Fire alarms

  • Full, valid UK driving licence

  • Thorough understanding of relevant fire and intruder alarm Standards

  • IPAF desirable

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

  • Full understanding of BS5839
