Fire and Security Engineer Opportunity 

About our client

Our client is seeking new engineers to join their expanding team because they have won new projects and contracts in Essex and surrounding areas.

Fire and Security Engineer Package:

• Salary up to £45,000 base salary


• Normal hours – 40hrs – Monday-Friday.


• Overtime available.


• Call out – £150 standby per week.


• 20 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off


• Travel is paid from the moment you set off until you return home 

What will the fire and security engineer be doing on a daily basis:

• The fire and security engineer will service and maintain fire alarms, Access Control, Intruder alarms, Nurse calls, Door Entry, CCTV, etc.


• The fire and security engineer will carry out small works on the above systems.


• The fire and security engineer will be reporting to the engineering manager


• The fire and security engineer will complete all paperwork accurately and on time. 


• Take responsibility for your workload, stock and vehicle.

Knowledge and experience:

• Ideally, 2+ years working with the Fire and Security industry.


• Knowledge of British Standards and Health and Safety.


• Full UK Driving License.


• CSCS or ECS card.


• Manufacturer training is desirable, not essential.


• Level 3 qualification desirable.


• Can pass Security Screening
