Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Location: North East

Salary: £27,000 - £37,000 DOE

Benefits: Company car or van (personal use), fuel card, call out rota 1 in 11 days, standby allowance, overtime, 20 days holiday plus bank holiday and 2 weeks off at Christmas, mobile phone, training and development, bonus scheme, death in service, sick pay.

Job Description:

As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing fire alarm systems in large commercial properties across the North East. This is a field-based role that requires expertise in fire systems, emergency lighting, and preferably fire extinguisher experience.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Service and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 11 days) with standby allowance.
  • Undertake overtime as required.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Skills and Experience:


  • Previous experience and knowledge of fire systems.
  • Desirable experience in emergency lighting.
  • Desirable experience with fire extinguishers.
  • Service and maintenance experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • FIA/BFC Qualification would be a benefit but not essential.
