Fire Alarm Engineer

Title: Fire Alarm Engineer (Service and Small Works)

Location of Works: Southampton  

The Company: Large Fire and Security Company based UK wide, including Europe are on the lookout for experienced Fire Alarm Engineers.

Package:

£32,000 - £37,000 basic

Travel Time paid after 30 minutes each way

Company Vehicle – includes personal use

23 days’ holiday, rising to 25 days plus bank holidays

Call out rota – Standby rates and time and half for call outs.

Main Responsibilities:

Service both Fire Alarm systems within commercial and domestic properties.

Work with both addressable and conventional Fire Alarm systems

Work to the relevant British Fire Standards.

Be customer facing and be able to recommend additional services if required. (Extinguisher, Emergency lights etc)

Use PDA System for receiving and completing works.

Knowledge and experience:

2 years plus experience servicing Fire Alarm Systems.  

2 years plus experience on small works on conventional and addressable Fire Alarm Systems.  

FIA’s desired

Full UK Driving licence essential
