Full Time - Permanent

36 hours per week woking 8am until 4pm Monday - Thursday and 8am - 2pm on a Friday

About the role:

My client is investing in and expanding its Property Maintenance Team and has new opportunities for qualified Fire Alarm Engineer to join the Group. Their tenants are at the heart of what they do, therefore, providing excellent customer service is paramount in this role. You will need to be a people person with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of teams, colleagues, and customers to ensure you deliver excellent customer service every time.
As a Fire Alarm Engineer you would carry out the following tasks across our housing stock / Buildings in Sunderland:
* Fire alarm servicing to a range of fire alarm system across our buildings including Kentec, Gent, Protec, C-Tec and Apollo alarm sense devices.
* Remedial actions arising from fire alarm servicing.
* Responsive jobs to fire alarm systems
* Servicing of Emergency Light systems across our building including both central battery and self-contained system.
You will be required to work with minimum supervision both independently and as part of a wider team. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive and highly experienced team, where you will be offered training opportunities and continuous professional development through monthly team meetings, sharing best practice, and technical talks. They also offer opportunities to progress within.

What they are looking for:
* A full UK driving licence
* it is essential you hold certification of training from the FIA (Fire Industries Association) or equivalent.
* Be fully conversant and competent to carry out works in accordance with BS 5839 (fire detection) latest editions and revision thereafter
Electrical Safety competence training.
* It is highly desirable to be fully conversant and competent to carry out works in accordance with BS 5266 (Emergency Lighting) latest editions and revision thereafter
* A basic DBS check, paid for by client.
