Finishing Team Leader

The Team Leader role requires you to have a hands-on approach to lead the teams circa. 10 direct reports, responsible for the finishing of GRP products.
Overseeing all aspects of the finishing process and mould tool preparation stages within the Composites Department. Manage team performance and offline metrics, collaborate with stakeholders to optimise workflow and efficiency.
Main Duties:
Manage and motivate a team of GRP finishing specialists, ensuring efficiency of workflow and high-quality output is achieved.
Delegate tasks effectively, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting open communication and problem-solving within the team and wider Composites department.
Oversee all stages of the finishing process, from efficient use of materials and procurement through our internal ordering system to final inspection and quality control, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards are maintained.
Participate and contribute in weekly team planning meetings, focusing on scheduling and performance in addition to providing insights and recommendations from the finishing team's perspective.
