Finishing Manager

Our client, a leading developer, is seeking an experienced Freelance Finishing Manager to oversee a prestigious project. The scheme involves the demolition of an existing care home and associated buildings along with the residential unit. The primary focus will be on the construction of a new three-story plus basement (C2 use) care home, complete with associated parking and resident's gardens. Additionally, the project includes infrastructure works and access roads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all finishing aspects of the project, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee the installation of fixtures, fittings, and interior finishes.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Finishing Manager or similar role in residential/Commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of finishing trades, including carpentry, tiling, painting, and decorating.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management.
